Cllr Duffy’s query specifically related to the completion and opening of the Monasterevin Textile and Fashion hub.

In response to this question, KCC said via the report it presented at the meeting:

KCC added: “Expressions of Interest have been received from potential workshop facilitators, and a programme of skills-based community and business workshops will be developed pending the support of the KWETB for funding.”
Lastly, KCC revealed that the project is due for completion at the end of July, and will open at the end of September 2026.”
