Naas hold off Maynooth rally to capture IHC title

Naas captured the Haven Hire IHC final this afternoon, defeating a game Maynooth side by just two points.

Naas led at the break 0-8 to 0-4 but had a man sent off in the 35 minute on a straight red an this gave Maynooth the momentum.

They got the lead back to a single point after a goal from Mikey Gillick but Naas held on, led by a powerful performance from Ciaran Ford at no. 11

Final score Naas 0-15 Maynooth 1-10.
