Ciaran O'Brien, Kildare bursts past Arun Daly Danne of Wicklow in this evening's Leinter MFC opener
Kildare minors opened their Leinster campaign with a fine win over Wicklow on a final score line of Kildare 1-16 Wicklow 0-12.
In an entertaining game The Lilies led at the break 0-8 to 0-5; three points in two points making the difference before the break.
Wicklow responded well on the resumption with three quick points to level it up and the sides were level on a few occasions before Kildare pulled three clear and when Adam Conneely found the net the game was all but done and dusted.
