For the first time ever Kildare senior footballers and their Lady counterparts will play competitive league games on a double bill.
The footballers take on Tipperary in Round 6 of the Allianz Football League (Division 2) while preceding that game will be a clash between Kildare Ladies and their Meath counterparts in the Lidl Ladies, Round 5 National League.
The games, scheduled for Saturday week, March 16, will see the Ladies open proceedings with a 12 noon throw-in, while the AFL clash against Tipperary will throw-in at 2.30.
