Monasterevan advance to IFC final after extra time

Monasterevan are through to the IFC final and a meeting with Two Mile House following a dramatic replay against St Kevin's at St Conleth's Park this afternoon.

Monasterevan, reduced to 14 men after 21 minutes led at the break 0-7 to 0-5 but Kevin's hit back, with the wind on the resumption to take the led only for Monasterevan to force extra time with a Wayne Fitzplatrick free.

Back to a full contingent Monastrevan led by two at the break in extra time and then held out to clinch a final spot on a final score line Monasterevan 1-15 St Kevin's 0-16.
