Niall Kelly scored nine points for Athy against Carbury
Niall Kelly was in sparkling form for Athy as the League champions recorded a comfortable win over Carbury in Round 1, Group C, of the Joe Mallon Motors SFC in St Conleth's Park this afternoon.
Leading by nine at the break (1-12 to0-6) the result was never in doubt as the boys from the south of the county recorded their expected win.
In the IFC there were wins for Two Mile House and Clogherinkoe.
