Kildare senior footballers lost out to Cavan in a challenge, played in Hawkfield this afternoon.
Cavan led at the break 1-8 to 0-7 and went on to win on a final score line of Cavan 2-14 Kildare 0-14.
Paul Cribbin scored five points from play with Neil Flynn and David Slattery also putting in good shifts.
Meanwhile in the Tony Donohoe U21 football finals, Monasterevan defeated St Laurences 2-10 to 1-11 in a cracking U21 ‘B’ final while Ballymore got the better of Maynooth 2-10 to 2-5 in the U17 football final
