Action from today's IFC final replay
Round Towers were crowned intermediate football champions after a dramatic replay against Two Mile House at St Conleth’s Park today.
Both teams were reduced to 14 before the break with Peter Kelly getting a red and Barry Waters picking up a second yellow.
Level at half time Towers 1-3 Two Mile House 0-6.
The second half was full of passion with both sides giving it their all.
Towers looked to have it in the bag when leading by four points with 58 minutes gone.
The House came storming back getting it back to one when a late free gave them a chance to level but Aidan Casey who scored ten points saw his free drift left and wide.
Scorers: Round Towers, Stuart Murphy 2-1, Matthew Kelly 0-4 (one 45), Neil Scanlon 0-3 (2 frees), Jason Dunne 0-1, Mark Waters 0-1, Davy O’Neill 0-1.
Two Mile House, Aidan Casey 0-10 (9 frees), Shane D’Arcy 1-0, Chris Healy 0-3.
