Rags show fighting spirit to snatch win

Kilcullen booked their place in the semi final of the Leinster Club Junior Football Championship with a one point win over St Patrick’s of Tullow today at St Conlleth's Park, Newbridge.

Trailing by two points at the break, 0-6 to 0-8, Kilcullen were hit with 1-1 by Jack Kennedy after three minutes of the restart.

Six points on the trot saw them level and while they hit 11 second half wides it was substitute Shay Pembroke who hit the winning point in the 62 minute.
