Mark Donnelly, Sallins
Thirteen man Sallins, under manager Davy Dalton, withstood a late Ballymore Eustace rally to retain their IFC status at a windy and very wet St Conleth's Park this afternoon.
Leading by 1-8 to 1-3 at the break, that lead went out to 1-12 to 1-4 before Ballymore hit back with two late goals. However Sallins held out by the narrowest of margins to retain their intermediate status on a final score line of Sallins 1-13 Ballymore Eustace 3-6.
