Alex Beirne returns to Kildare for Saturday's clash with Meath
Brian Flanagan and his management team have announced the Kildare team to take on Meath in the Allianz Football League Division 2 Round 5 game on Saturday when The Royals are the visitors to Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge, for a game that throws-in at 7 pm.
The team announced sees Alex Beirne return after serving a one match suspension.
A boost for The Lilies is that named on the match-day panel are Ben McCormack and Jimmy Hyland, both out with hamstrings for a number of months, while Kevin Feely, who also missed the Cavan game with a hamstring picked up against Derry, is named on the the subs list.
This is a vital game for Kildare, and while Meath lost last week to Cork, they are certainly showing excellent form in this league, winning three of their four encounters having defeated Derry, Cavan and Louth to leave them in joint second on six points, along with Derry and two points behind table toppers Cork.
