Evan O'Brien of Naas in action against Aaron Maddock of St Martin's during the AIB Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Club Championship semi-final match between St Martin's and Naas at Chadwicks Wexford Park
Naas hopes of reaching the AIB Leinster Senior Club Hurling final were dashed at Wexford Park on Sunday as they had no answer to a dominant St Martin's side.
Martins had defeated Leinster and All-Ireland champions, Na Fianna in the quarter-final and they brought form back to their home base on Sunday.
Playing with the string wind in the opening half they dominated proceedings with Rory O'Connor in sparkling form.
Jack Sheridan was Naas main threat but it was Martin's who led at the break 0-15 to 0-5.
Naas opened brightly on the resumption hitting the opening two scores but soon St Martin's got back into scoring form, they added a further six points, with Rory O'Connor hitting them all, ending up with an impresssive 14 in total.
Jack Sheridan was Naas top scorer with eight but the Kildare champiions can have no complaints they simply were not good enough on the day, with the final score reading St Martin's 0-21 Naas 0-11.
