Davy Burke
Davy Bourke is to join Brian Flanagan's Kildare senior football management team, it has been announced by Kildare Co. Board this evening. It is understood it is in addition to the management team that operated this season.
Davy Burke, Kildare native who was a member of the Confey club, had his playing career ended prematurely due to a knee injury.
He managed Kildare U20s to Leinster and All-Ireland success back in 2018. He later managed Sarsfields to SFC honours in 2019, departed after one year, soon after was appointed manager of Wicklow senior footballers where he stayed for two years. Davy was the youngest inter-county senior manager at just 31 at that time.
The Kildare man became Roscommon manager in 2022 on a three year term, stepping down after The Rosies season ended earlier in the summer.
