Favourites for the National Electrical Wholesalers IFC title, Sallins, had little trouble dismissing Ballyteague this evening at Cedral St Conleth's Park as they dominated this Round 2 game from start to finish. They led by five at half time 0-8 to 0-3 but were extremely wasteful in that period.

However, on the resumption they upped their game, well their finishing anyway, hit two goals from midfielders Daragh Mangan and Colm Dalton going on to win on a impressive score line of Sallins 2-21 Ballytegue 0-7.
