Kildare Ladies retained their LGFA Lidl National League Division 1 status following a comprehensive win over Tyrone at Cedra St Conleth's Park, Newbridge on a final score line of Kildare 4-10 Tyrone 2-8.
Player of the Match was Róisín Byrne of Kildae who hit a second half-trick.
Tyrone led at the break by one point, 1-4 to 1-3 with the home side hitting no less than ten wides in the half.
However on the resumption Pat Sullivan's Lilies took a firm grim hitting 4-2 in the opening ten minutes of the half.
A great achievement from the Kildare girls, on this their first season in Division 1.
Onwards and upwards now with the Leinster Championship followed by the All-Ireland series.
