LGFA: Kildare's Eadestown no match for Kilmacud Crokes

Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin had no difficulty in retaining their AIB LGFA Senior Club Championship title, and making it three-in-a-row as they overwhelmed Kildare champions Eadestown at Glenisk O'Connor Park, Tullamore, this afternoon.

From the throw-in Kilmacud stamped their authority on this game with two goals from Éabha Rutledge and Michelle Davoren inside two minutes.

The Dublin champions dominated throughout and added another goal before the break from Michelle Davoren.

Eadestown's only replay was a solitary point from a Siobhan O'Sullivan free.

While the second half was a little more competitive Kilmacud did add one more goal, from Lauren McGee with Eadestown tacking on two points.

Final score: Kilmacud Crokes 4-14 Eadestown 0-3.
