Lidl National Football League Division 2 Round 2

Kildare 1-8

Donegal 1-4

An absolutely exceptional display from Kildare ladies means they have made it two wins from two in Division 2 this year. The newly-promoted side dominated proceedings for large swathes of this game and reduced their opponents to just a single point in the second half.

The control demonstrated by Kildare is a credit to the management team and the group itself. Róisin Byrne with 1-5 on the day was the outstanding scoring contribution, which included the crucial goal scored with 10 minutes to go.
