Kill's Hayley Nolan and Newbridge's Freya Healy were called into Eileen Gleeson's Ireland squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League Qualifier against Hungary in Tallaght Stadium tonight (kick-off is at 7pm). That game comes just four days before the girls in green head north to Belfast for an away tie against Northern Ireland on Tuesday, December 5.

The announcement was made last Sunday and while Crystal Palace's new signing Hayley Nolan was not a surprise inclusion following her strong start to life in South London, teenager Freya Healy was a notable choice in place of Emily Whelan.

Healy is coming off a brilliant season with Peamount United that saw her side take home a league title and secure Champions League football for next season. The young woman from Newbridge was recently capped at U19 level and scored on her debut against Wales.
