All-Ireland Series: Kildare away to Connacht r/up in opener

The following is the group draws for the 16 team All-Ireland Series, drawn this afternoon.

Group 1: Munster winners; Leinster runners-up; Mayo and Cork.

Group 2: Connacht winners; Ulster runners-up; Tyrone and Westmeath.

Group 3: Leinster winners; Connacht runners-up; Roscommon and Kildare.

Group 4: Ulster winners; Munster runners-up; Monaghan and Derry.

Kildare will play the Connacht runners-up in their opening game, away from home.

Kildare will play Leinster winners in Round 2 (Kildare home venue);

In Round 3 Kildare will play Roscommon in a neutral venue.

The Taliteann Cup Groups as follows:

Group 1: Cavan, Offaly, Laois, London;

Gropu 2: Meath, Down, Tipperary and Waterford;

Group 3: Limerick, Wicklow, Longford and Carlow;

Group 4: Fermanagh, Antrim, Wexford and Leitrim.
