Heavy goods vehicles should be removed from the main street in Athy.
Labour councillor Aoife Breslin wants Kildare County Council to “investigate all measures including a HGV ban to remove all HGVs from the N78 (which is also the main street).”
KCC says “that this should be investigated as a priority.”
Drawings of a plan to ban the vehicles will be prepared and given to local councillors.
