The organisers plan to raise funds for a young boy from Athy named Martin Jr

Prominent figures in the Irish horse racing scene will attend a County Kildare fundraiser in aid of a child in recovery.

The event is in aid of Martin Davidson Jr, and was organised by his father, Marto Davidson (Martin Sr). His son recently had a benign tumour removed from his brain.

As part of the fundraiser, members of the public will get the chance to meet with Gordon Elliot, Adrian Keatley, Paul Townend, Shane Foley and Jack Kennedy.

Music will be provided by Fran O'Mara, and will also feature a live hypnotist, finger food, raffle boxing and jockey memorablia.

Tickets cost €50, although it should be noted that only 200 are available for this event.

The fundraiser will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Auld Shebeen in Athy. It will commence at 8pm.

Anyone interesting in attending or who wishes to seek further information can contact James on 083 118 6803.

In addition, you can contact Athy Plant Hire and Hardware on 059 863 4602.
