NOTICE: Two temporary road closures announced for two areas in Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District
Local access will be maintained for both roads
Two temporary road closures have been announced for two areas located within the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District.
Speaking about the first closure, Kildare County Council (KCC) explained that surface dressing works will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 on the L-7020 Mooretown in Kildare and also on the L-7055 Monasterevin to Nurney Road (from Duneany Cross to Oghill).
Regarding both sites, KCC said: “A road closure will be in place for the duration.
“Local access will be maintained.
“Please note adverse weather may necessitate the cancelling of a day; as such, the schedule will be rearranged accordingly.”
KCC concluded: “Any inconvenience caused is regretted and your co-operation is appreciated.”
