Investigation work being examined

Tender documents soon for consultant to second bridge in Celbridge Kildare

Plans for a boardwalk in Celbridge  will need to be funded.

Cllr David Trost was told at a Celbridge Leixlip Municipal District committee meeting that the consultants for the project are analysing the result of investigation work relating to the project at the bridge.

The findings will be included in the detailed design of the scheme.

KCC engineer Donal Hodgins also said the “progression of the detailed design is dependent on sufficient funding being provided in 2025 from the National Transport Authority.”
