Motorists and commuters are being urged to exercise caution due to 'treacherous' road conditions in places
With weather warnings in place for every county in Ireland, including Kildare, Met Éireann is urging caution this Thursday morning with reports of heavy snowfall in places.
A status orange snow-ice warning remains in place for four counties - Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway - until midday while Waterford and Cork remain under a status orange snow-rain warning.
Met Éireann, which updated its warnings on Wednesday night, says a status yellow snow-ice warning for nineteen counties, including KILDARE, also remains in place until midday as does a status yellow low temperature/Ice warning for the entire country.
Motorists and commuters are being urged to exercise caution as some local roads and footpaths may not yet have been treated by local authority crews.
