Aida Best and Florence Mulcahy meet guardian of Castletown
The falling of snow always attracts walkers to one of Kildare and Ireland’s famous parklands, Castletown House and Demesne.
Photographed (l to r) after meeting a snowman are Aida Best and Florence Mulcahy from Celbridge.
Castletown House will reopen for the 2018 season on March 16. Tickets can be purchased on site at the visitor reception desk in the main house.
The grounds are open all year round, and are free to enter and explore.
