Urgent food appeal released by parish centre in Kildare
Tinned and packaged foods of all kinds are welcome, as well as toiletries
Newbridge Parish Centre has revealed that its share food stocks have ‘fallen significantly’, and as a result, it wants to replenish its supplies.
The centre elaborated: “We would be especially grateful to new donors who might consider adding just one or two extra items to their weekly shop.
“Tinned and packaged foods of all kinds are welcome, as well as toiletries.”
It added: “Every donation, big or small, helps us support local families who need a little extra help.”
The centre concluded: “Thank you, as always, for your kindness and generosity.”
Donations can be left at St Conleth’s Parish Church, Cill Mhuire and the Dominican Church, as well as the Newbridge branches of Dunnes Stores, Tesco and SuperValu.
Newbridge Parish Centre is a registered charity.
