The stolen tools are marked with the initials ‘GNG’
Two drills and a nail gun were among a number of tools which were stolen from a van that was parked in County Kildare.
Details of the thefts were read out by Garda Brian Carroll during a guest appearance on KFM, which took place on Wednesday, August 26 last.
He explained that the incident occurred in the Liffey Drive region of Newbridge on Saturday, August 21 last.
According to Gda Carroll, the owner of the van noticed that a ‘hole had been punched through the back door of the van’, which allowed the perpetrator(s) to steal a number of tools contained within it.

He also noted that the tools are marked with the initials ‘GNG’.
Gda Carroll concluded by urging anyone with information relating to this crime and / or anyone who may have been offered these tools for sale to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
