'A night of magic'- Free tickets for RTE's The Late Late Toy Show are now up for grabs 

People across the country are now in with the chance to bag themselves a pair of free tickets to The Late Late Toy Show.

The BIG BIG Ticket Giveaway was officially launched on The Late Late Show and Patrick Kielty announced that applications are now open live on air.

From RTÉ Radio 1, 2FM, lyric fm, RnaG and Gold to The Late Late Show, Today and RTÉ’s social channels – RTÉ audiences everywhere will have the chance to bag themselves seats at the most magical night of the year.

Entries will remain open until Tuesday, 18 November 2025 at 5pm and audiences can apply for their chance to bag a pair of tickets via rte.ie/latelate. 

On Friday, 21 November, the Toy Show will take over the national airwaves for The Late Late Toy Show BIG BIG Giveaway Day.

Lucky applicants will be phoned live on air – and if they answer the call within five rings, they will be heading to watch The Late Late Toy Show live on Friday, 5 December 2025.   

• RTÉ 2FM: Presenters will hand out a pair of tickets every hour from 7am to 5pm. 

• RTÉ Radio 1: Oliver Callan will kick off the day giving away tickets between 11am and 1pm. Louise Duffy will continue the fun with more tickets up for grabs between 3pm and 4pm.

• RTÉ lyric fm: From Marty in the Morning right through to Lorcan Murray's Classic Drive, presenters will surprise listeners with tickets across the day. 

• RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta: Tickets will be up for grabs throughout the day on Iris Aniar, An Saol ó Dheas, Barrscéalta and Pé Scéal É. 

• RTÉ Gold will have a pair of tickets to hand out on Gold Breakfast with Will Leahy from 7am. 

• Today: More tickets will be given away live on air with Maura, Dáithí and Sinéad from 3.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. 

• The Late Late Show: The final golden ticket winners will be called live on Friday night from 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.  

• RTÉ Social: Followers can join in the fun with exclusive ticket giveaways across RTÉ’s social channels. 

Patrick Kielty, host of The Late Late Show, said: “The Toy Show is a night of magic - joy, toys, music and fun. And every year our studio audience bring their magic like no other. Last year, we were blown away when 100,000 people applied for Toy Show audience tickets. And this year we’re delighted RTÉ programmes are joining the party to give even more people the chance to be part of the magic.”
