The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is advising members of the public that hundreds of Stellar Classic 5-Piece Saucepan Sets sold in Ireland are being recalled by Horwood Homewares amid serious safety concerns.
In a public notice, they say the 5-Piece Saucepan Sets were sold in Arnotts and Brown Thomas stores in Ireland between July 2024 to September 01, 2025.
The product presents a burns and injury risk.

The welding on the handle of the long-handled saucepans in the set may weaken and the top left weld may detach during use which may lead the consumer to drop the product and sustain a burn or injury.
The products and batches affected are the S1F4B Stellar Classic Deep 5 piece set with batch numbers of Batch 357, Batch 359, Batch 363.
As well as the S1F5B Stellar Classic Deep 5-piece set, with the batch number Batch 354.
Consumers are advised that the product codes S1F4B and S1F5B can be found on the packaging label. The batch codes can be found printed on the base of each saucepan.
There are approximately 400 products sold in the Republic of Ireland.
Consumers should stop using the product immediately and return it for a replacement or refund to Horwood Homewares.
In the case of a replacement, Horwood Homewares will arrange for free collection and replacement of your cookware set.
