RTÉ star Miriam O'Callaghan has shared a relatable holiday confession that has Irish mammies everywhere nodding along.
The Prime Time presenter posted a short video from Portugal, where she is currently enjoying some downtime.
Filming herself in a swimming pool, O'Callaghan told her 49.5k Instagram followers that while she was delighted to be away doing nothing, the real joy of a sun holiday was something far more ordinary.
The RTE presenter's confession is relatable as it is endearing, with Miriam admitting that, like "every Irish mammy", she gets a thrill from seeing clothes dry in the sun.

“Hi there, greetings from sunny Portugal. It's just lovely to be away doing nothing," she began.
But then, panning the camera to show two loungers piled with towels and clothes, she admitted: "I have to honestly say the most exciting thing is there in the shot behind me – which is the washing and drying in Portugal.”
Laughing, she added: "Like every Irish mammy, that makes me so excited.
"It dries so quickly and all your whites go whiter.”
The post also included two smiling selfies, with O'Callaghan doubling down on the light-hearted confession in her caption: "Best bit about being on a sun holiday? The washing&drying is ace ✨ makes me SO happy #irishmammyinsta”
Her fans were quick to agree, with many commenting that they too look forward to "great drying weather" when abroad. Another said that the post was proof that some things never change, even when you're a household name.

It's been a busy few days for O'Callaghan who attended the sold-out Oasis reunion shows in Croke Park last weekend.
She shared snaps with her identical twin daughters, Jessica and Georgia, and posed alongside CNN's Irish reporter Donie O'Sullivan before heading off on her break.
As she departed Ireland, the broadcaster also shared a short clip out of a plane window, showing the coastline below with the caption: “So long for now, beautiful Ireland – see you soon. Off on holidays excited.”
