Comments have poured in from concerned locals who are glad the puppy is now safe, with one person commenting, "It takes a cold, heartless person to hurt something so innocent and defenceless. This kind of behaviour isn’t just animal abuse, it’s a red flag for much deeper issues. Poor little baby."
Another person said: "Omg that poor sweet little puppy, thankfully safe now and thank you to the lady who rescued him. What kind of humans could do that to a defenceless little animal".
