Search for teenage girl missing five days is stood down amid garda update

An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance

An Garda Síochána in Dublin have stood down their search for a teenage girl who was reported missing five days ago. 

Britney Maughan vanished from her home in Finglas, Dublin 11 on Wednesday, June 18.

Gardaí believed the 16-year-old may have travelled to the Bray area of County Wicklow but thankfully, a spokesperson has confirmed today, June 23, that the young girl was located "safe and well." 

No further media action is required and An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
