Caitlyn Dries from Mallow in Cork has been located 'safe and well' gardai have confirmed
A public appeal for assistance in locating missing a 15-year-old girl has been stood down, gardai have confirmed.
They say Caitlyn Dries from Mallow in north Cork, who was reported as missing on Wednesday, has now been located "safe and well".
In an appeal, issued on Good Friday, gardai said they were concerned for her wellbeing.
However, in an update issued this Saturday morning, they confirmed there has been a positive development,
"Caitlyn Dries, 15-years-old, who was reported missing from Mallow, Co. Cork on Wednesday, April 16 2025, has been located safe and well," read a brief statement confirming that the missing person appeal has now been stood down.

No further information has been disclosed publicly in relation to the circumstances which resulted in the teenager being located.
An Garda Síochána have thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance with the appeal.
