Last night’s Lotto draw, Wednesday, February 12, has brought not one, but two of Ireland's newest millionaires to life!
The Lotto Jackpot, which was worth a staggering €2,935,144 and the Lotto Plus One top prize of €1,000,000 were both claimed by two Dublin players.
The winner of the Lotto Jackpot purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw, with the winning numbers being: 5, 11, 26, 37, 46, 47 and the Bonus was 35.
Meanwhile, the Plus One winner, an online Dubliner, successfully matched all numbers, bagging themselves a whopping €1,000,000. The winning numbers were: 2, 10, 17, 27, 30, 33 and the Bonus was 36.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the store location where the winning jackpot ticket was purchased will be announced on Friday, February 14 – let's see where Cupid strikes his arrow!
They are urging all players in the Dublin area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said, “What an incredible night for our players! We’ve had not one, but two life-changing prizes sold in the capital this week. This is truly amazing! In total, over 53,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including our two top prize winners. We are absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to see the joy this brings to our two new millionaires!”
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2023 alone, €227.9 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
