Calum Kavanagh, who was last seen on Tuesday has been located 'safe and well'
Gardai seeking to locate 15-year-old Calum Kavanagh who had been reported as missing from his home in County Laois have confirmed a positive outcome in the case.
Calum, from Ballylinan, who was last seen on Tuesday, November 19, was the subject of a national appeal for assistance which was issued earlier this week.
Searches have been ongoing and gardai in Portlaoise have been making efforts to locate the teenager.
In an update, issued this Saturday afternoon, they confirmed he has been located.
"Calum Kavanagh, 15, who was reported missing from Ballylinan, Co. Laois, since November 19, 2024 has been located safe and well," said a spokesperson.

Gardai have thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance with the appeal.
No further information has been disclosed publicly regarding the circumstances in which Calum was located.
