WATCH: 'Look at this for luxury' - Tommy Tiernan gives sneak peek of huge American tour bus

Legendary Irish comedian Tommy Tiernan has given social media users a behind-the-scenes peak at his luxurious home on wheels for his American tour.

The Navan native is currently touring North America with his Tommy Tiernan: Tommedian stand-up show which will see him visit 13 cities from coast to coast across October and November.

The tour was announced in June off the back of his sold-out 17-night residency at Dublin's Vicar Street which wrapped up on October 19.

Described as "a fun-fuelled trip through the comic imagination of one of the best comedians in the world. This is a wild, uninhibited and fiercely physical display of stand-up. A madcap parade of characters, memories and ridiculous flights of fancy. Theatrical, poetical and slightly unhinged," the Tommedian tour follows on from Tiernan’s sold-out US theatre tour in 2023.

Currently in Victoria for the Canadian leg of his tour, Tiernan posted a clip showing off his home for the next while - a luxurious tour bus.

Tiernan begins the clip by welcoming viewers on board before exclaiming: "Look at this for luxury!"

"Are you kidding me? Are you guys kidding me?" he asks rhetorically. 

He goes on to give a guided tour through the living quarters, including the sink where he "doesn't do the dishes," before describing the digs as "beautiful."

"What a way to travel around America!"

"If Peg Sayers had one of these, I don't think she would have been in a bad mood at all," Tiernan signed off the video. 

His tour continues across Canada with two nights in the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver before returning Stateside for dates in Portland, Seattle, and Los Angeles, finishing up with two nights in San Francisco.
