'Not one offer of help' for adorable dog as rescue centre issues sad appeal
A dog rescue centre has posted an update in the search for a foster home for an adorable spaniel/collie cross called Teddy.
After initially posting his image to social media, Dogs Angels Ireland say they didn't get one off of help.
They posted an update: "Sadly not one offer of help for this dog. Teddy needs a foster home.
They explained that one of their supporters went to meet Teddy and assess him.
"He was anxious and barking at first but after an hour he had gotten to this level. He is nervous and unsure about dogs and he will take no time at all to realise that there is nothing to be afraid of," they said.
"He is only a year old and has a long life ahead of him.

"We need a foster home for Teddy. He is 12 months old and has not met many dogs and his owner cannot give him what he needs. Spaniel x collie with lots of love to give, needs a dog free home or a home with dogs where he can slowly be introduced to dogs, traffic and generally teach him about life," the post added.
"He also needs to be toilet trained. He is young and intelligent and will learn quickly. We really need someone who can give him a chance.
"A dog free home or experienced dog owner with dogs as we think he will adjust very quickly.
"Please message the page if you can help and we can send videos of Teddy as one of our supporters went to assess him."
In the comments section of the follow-up post, there may be hope for little Teddy as one woman commented, "I am very interested in giving Teddy a home." She is now in touch with the Dogs Angels Ireland page.
