Two men are due to appear in court in relation to a serious assault which occurred in Co Cork over the weekend.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, were taken to Cork University Hospital following a serious assault, which occurred in Dunmanway on Saturday, August 17, shortly after 7pm.
It is understood they were stabbed.
Gardaí have charged the two men who were arrested following the assault, aged 30s and 70s.
They are due to appear before Bantry District Court this Monday, August 19 at 2pm.
