A learner driver nearly drove for the last time as gardaí caught the driver speeding under "treacherous" conditions in recent days.
Sharing a post to X (formerly Twitter), a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "The rain in Galway last night was treacherous when we clocked this unaccompanied, learner permit driver travelling 153kp/h in a 100kp/h zone near Oranmore.
