Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the Old North Road in Finglas, Dublin 11, which occurred shortly after 2pm, on Wednesday, July 17.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcyle. The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was fatally injured.
The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will be made for a post-mortem examination.
The road has re-opened following an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
