It was a Wednesday night to remember for two Lotto players in Ireland, as a total of €321,312 is divided and shared between two lucky individuals.
Lotto players in Dublin and Meath matched five numbers and the bonus, to scoop €160,656 each in the midweek draw. Both players struck gold as they purchased Quick Pick tickets in their localities.
The Dublin player won their share of the Match 5 + Bonus prize, after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Circle K Elm Park on the Merrion Road in Dublin 4.
Meanwhile, the Meath winner was celebrating after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket, also on the day of the draw, at Tesco Narrow Ways on the Eastham Road in Bettystown.
The winning numbers in the Wednesday, May 29 Lotto draw were: 12, 25, 35, 38, 39, 45 and the bonus was 34.
People in Dublin and Meath are being urged to check their Lotto tickets carefully, as two players now have tickets worth €160,656 each.
National Lottery spokesperson, Sarah Orr, said: “Two lucky Lotto players could be walking around with the winning ticket in their bags or pockets, totally unaware of just how much they are worth.
“Wednesday’s Lotto draw saw over 59,000 players nationwide win prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, with the Dublin and Meath winners taking the titles of biggest winners of the night.
“As there was no winner of the €3,377,681 jackpot on offer, Saturday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €3.8m.”
