A man in his thirties was arrested today as Gardaí have continue investigations into 'drug related intimidation' in North Dublin.
The man was arrested under organised crime legislation, and is currently detained at a Garda Station in North Dublin.
The arrest was made as part of 'Operation Fógra', and relates to suspected incidents of drug related intimidation committed between over the past five months.
Operation Fógra was launched to combat drug related intimidation, which has been identified as a major source of community harm and fear in the DMR and is a sinister motive for various forms of criminality.
The objectives of Operation Fógra are to support communities, increase frontline awareness of DRI and enhance collaboration.
Investigations are ongoing.
