Fourth man to appear in court over €300,000 drugs bust in Limerick city

The fourth man who was arrested in connection with the seizure of €300,000 worth of cannabis has been charged.

The four arrests were made after Gardaí raided a factory in the Clare Street area of Limerick City on Friday.

The man is expected to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this morning, and investigations are ongoing.

The searches were carried out by Limerick Divisional Drug Unit, supported by members of the Regional Armed Support Unit in the Clare Street area.

During the course of these searches cash totaling approximately €10,000 as well as 30 cannabis plants and approximately 15 kilos of cannabis was seized.

Three of the four men arrested appeared in court yesterday afternoon.
