Three three family pets were rescued from a house in Dublin on Saturday night
Firefighters rescued three family pets while responding to a house fire in Dublin city on Saturday night.
Several units from Dublin Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service from Dolphins Barn fire station were deployed to a property in the Drimnagh area after the alarm was raised at around 11pm.
Having arrived at the scene, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly brought the fire under control and "rescued some furry family members" in the process.
A post on social media shows the firemen holding the three pet rabbits after they were brought to safety from the home.

There are no reports of any injuries related to the fire, the cause of which has not been disclosed.
