'Gardaí were called' while 2 Johnnies were filming for new St Patrick's single

TV personalities The 2 Johnnies have released their latest single, St Patrick Drove a Honda Civic.

The single is the first track from their new album and the Tipperary dynamic duo are seen telling a pair of Irish-American tourists a fictional story of St Patrick, including how he was a lover of chicken fillet rolls, he taught Larry Mullen the drums and he drove a Honda Civic.

The funny video where "St Patrick" recklessly driving the duo around a carpark in a Honda Civic was was filmed in Dolan's in Limerick and on a closed set in Co Clare.

Speaking to RTÉ The 2 Johnnies revealed that the gardaí were called twice following calls from concerned citizens who believed that a crime was being committed.

Johnny Smacks said: "I was beat into the seat with my eyes closed the whole time - it was worse than the worst rollercoaster or the taxi home when you've the spinnies after a feed of sambuca!"
