ALERT: Children's Christmas product recalled due to choking fears

A children's Christmas product has been recalled due to choking fears.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), TK Maxx and Homesense is carrying out the recall of Christmas Lila & Jack Pacifier Clip & Teethers due to a risk of choking and strangulation.

The products can reportedly become loose and give access to small parts and if a child puts the small part in their mouth, this can lead to choking.

There are two designs – candy cane and mug (the product code shown on the price sticker and your receipt will be either 879323, 879328, 879340 or 879345).

There are approximately 45 affected products in the Republic of Ireland, sold in stores between October and November 2023.

Customers should stop using the product immediately, keep it out of the reach of children and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.

If customers have any further queries in relation to this recall, please email TK Maxx at customerservice@tjxeurope.com or call on 01 2476126.
