The Rose of Tralee International Festival is coming to communities across Ireland to host events in search of your local Community Rose & Rose Escort!

The Rose of Tralee International Festival will be holding Community Rose Selections throughout the country from November through to March, offering local community groups a unique opportunity to raise funds and find their next Community Rose and Rose Escort.

Bring the magic of the Rose of Tralee to your locality and celebrate the young people who are at the heart of your community, while supporting your local fundraising efforts.

At these Community Rose Selections, two local ambassadors will be selected to represent your area and go forward to their County Selection. This Rose and Rose Escort will represent your group at events throughout the year, helping to raise awareness and celebrate your good work.

Last year for example, our Community Rose Selections helped raise funds to rebuild a community centre after a fire caused extensive damage, and assisted a local Special Olympics Club send an Irish athlete to compete in Berlin.

This year there are plans to raise funds to buy defibrillators for a local First Responders group, to support a local Guide Dogs for the blind branch and to assist a tidy towns group!
