A major safety issue with certain children's toys sold in Ireland has been identified, according to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
Two toys from Music Box Kingdom have been flagged as choking hazards, with parents advised to discard the products immediately.
The affected products include 'Music Box Kingdom Dancing Dogs Music Box playing The Entertainer' (Item-No: 43809 and barcode: 4046729438096), and 'Music Box Duck'/'Dancing Rubber Duck Music Box' (Item-No: 43832 and barcode: 4046729438324).
The dog's head and duck detach from the base of the products, resulting in small parts which can be swallowed by young children leading to blockage of the respiratory tract and possible choking.
The total number of affected products in the Republic of Ireland is approximately seven.
