New pedestrian crossing is 'needed' in this Kildare town

Kildare County Council is told it should provide a safer crossing
A new pedestrian crossing is necessary in Naas.
Kildare County Council has been asked to “urgently examine” the request.
Independent Ireland councillor Bill Clear said KCC should design a “safe pedestrian crossing” from the Swans on the Green area towards the SuperValu supermarket nearby.
He said this would lead to a safer crossing point for “the large number of pedestrians and cyclists along this busy route, particularly to and from schools in the area.”
