The event will feature four musical acts

An upcoming concert in County Kildare aims to raise funds for a mental health support group.

Taking place in Newbridge Town Hall, ‘LISTEN’ is a concert which has been set up in support for the Newbridge and Kildare branch of The Samaritans.

The lineup will feature Ciarán Wynne, The Jones Sisters, Fuzzy Sea and Kampala.

Speaking ahead of the event, one of the organisers, local councillor Chris Pender (Social Democrats), said promised ‘four fantastic acts, one great cause, and another brilliant night of live music in Newbridge’.

He added: “And sure, if we're going to keep organising events, we might as well make them worthwhile!”

‘LISTEN’ will take place on Friday, November 27, 2026.

Doors will open at 7.45pm, while the actual concert will begin at 8pm.

It will conclude at around 10pm.

Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.

The Newbridge and Kildare branch of The Samaritans notably made headlines last month when it hosted an open day event.
